What’s new in Jazz’ world?

Not much and yet so much:

Before I was going to a coffee group, GROW meetings and a Social on Fridays, seeing my Dr, Support worker, Dreamweaver (someone who helps people achieve their goals and dreams) and sometimes a Psychiatrist. I was also meeting up with friends about once per week to go see a movie.

Now what’s going on? Instead of doing some or most of the above, I’m volunteering, seeing a Psychologist and going to a Job Network Provider. In addition to this I also did a little bit of work experience in a small Italian Restaurant, as a Waitress (and did some extra tasks/duties).

Although I thoroughly enjoyed the volunteering and work experience, I found that after some time I had break-through symptoms (when previously I was having no symptoms most of the time). I was hearing voices say to me, “You’re a whore. You can’t do this. Can’t do that. Blah blah blah.” – words to that effect. I mostly didn’t take any notice of them, other than to try noting what they said for future reference, such as now.

What else is new? I haven’t been writing here much. I’ve been drawing and painting mandalas. I find it very difficult to paint the Mandalas as I’m using very cheap children’s paints. No wonder children’s paintings don’t look very pro most of the time, they’re using materials that are difficult to work with. A really good artist would be able to make something of it, but I am finding it a challenge – as I’m learning these skills all over again.

So what are mandalas? They are drawings where you start in the middle and work your way out in circular patterns. They originate in India. I will write more in this later and cite the sources.

I will share some of my mandalas at a later stage. I will probably change the photo of the books here, which isn’t really relevant to this post to one of a mandala once I’ve uploaded them.
